Commercial FAQ
Our commercial consultation service covers everything from initial space assessment to final equipment installation. We begin by visiting your facility to measure the space and understand your goals. Our team then designs a custom floor plan — mapping out zones for cardio, strength, free weights, and stretching — and recommends the right mix of equipment for your audience and budget.
We use industry-standard capacity formulas based on your facility's square footage, peak-hour occupancy estimates, and member demographics. Our consultant will walk through your space, identify structural constraints (columns, flooring type, ceiling height, electrical access), and produce a phased equipment plan that matches your current footprint and allows room to grow.
Yes. Beyond equipment selection, our in-house designers handle the full spatial layout — including traffic flow, mirror placement, flooring zones, lighting recommendations, and branding elements such as wall graphics and colour schemes. We deliver a 2D floor plan and, for larger projects, a 3D render so you can visualise the finished space before any equipment arrives.
Absolutely. If you are refurbishing an existing gym, we will carry out a full equipment audit — checking the age, condition, and utilisation of every piece. We provide a written report that categorises each item as retain, service, or replace, and we can trade in or dispose of old equipment on your behalf before the new installation begins.
We work across a wide range of commercial environments, including hotels and resorts, corporate wellness centres, condominium and residential clubs, universities and schools, hospitals and rehabilitation centres, military and government facilities, and standalone commercial gyms. Each project is scoped individually to match the specific demands of that facility type and its end users.
Timelines vary with project size, but as a general guide: a small corporate wellness room (under 100 sqm) typically takes 4–6 weeks from signed quotation to installation complete. A mid-size hotel gym runs 8–12 weeks. A full-scale commercial gym fit-out can take 3–6 months depending on custom flooring, electrical works, and equipment lead times. We provide a detailed project schedule at proposal stage.
Yes. We work with several financing partners to offer flexible payment structures, including instalment plans, leasing arrangements, and deferred payment options for qualified commercial buyers. Speak to your Johnson Fitness consultant during your initial meeting and we will match you with the most suitable arrangement for your project budget and cash-flow requirements.
All commercial equipment installations come with manufacturer warranty coverage, and we offer optional annual maintenance contracts that include scheduled preventive servicing, priority breakdown response, and discounted parts. Our technicians are factory-trained on all major brands we carry, so you have a single point of contact for every service need.
